Here, where I live, in the middle of nowhere, Roanoke,USA, people do this strange phenomenon you are practicing..sharing of newspapers, letting people in front of you in traffic, smiling, nodding, and even stopping to allow you to cross the street an an improper place. Amazing yes? You ask yourself why Roanoke and not Paris? Perhaps it is because we have the time..what else is there to do? Another reason...perhaps you may know the person and if you are not nice you will be the topic of all gossip and you will no longer be invited to parties? Or, is it that we are just southern and we lost the war? As I am moving to Paris in Jan.2007, I will try to figure this out and join your social experiment when I arrive. Together perhaps we can make a difference! Thanks for trying to change the world one newspaper at a time!</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/21578561/3108289916362876347/comments/default/2416339727222772426'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/21578561/3108289916362876347/comments/default/2416339727222772426'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://samosa-blog.blogspot.com/2006/10/social-project.html?showComment=1162817760000#c2416339727222772426' title=''/><author><name>Gabrielle</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/18141103674333403139</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://samosa-blog.blogspot.com/2006/10/social-project.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21578561.post-3108289916362876347' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/21578561/posts/default/3108289916362876347' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
